1.2 Health & Fitness Data
If you choose to connect a heart rate device, SitZip collects heart rate data, which is considered health data.
Important details:
- Heart rate data is collected only while you are actively biking
- Collection occurs only after your explicit consent
- Heart rate data is used exclusively to display activity statistics and insights within the app
- Heart rate data is not used for advertising, marketing, or tracking
- Heart rate data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes
Using SitZip without connecting a heart rate device is fully supported.
1.3 Diagnostic & Usage Data
SitZip may collect anonymized diagnostic and usage information, such as:
- Crash reports
- App performance metrics
- General feature usage trends
This data cannot be used to identify you.
Additionally, SitZip may use a device identifier (such as a device ID) to support limited advertising optimization.
Important details:
- The device ID is used only to measure and improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- The device ID is not linked to your health or activity data
- This data cannot be used to directly identify you
2. How We Use Data
We use collected data solely to:
- Provide in-app statistics and performance insights

SitZip does not use any data for advertising, tracking across apps or websites, or profiling.

- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for anonymized diagnostic and usage data

- Heart rate and activity data are stored securely
- Data is backed up to secure online infrastructure to prevent data loss
- Appropriate technical and organizational security measures are in place to protect data

- Heart rate and activity data are retained only while your account remains active
- Anonymized diagnostic data may be retained for analytical purposes
- Upon account deletion, all associated personal and activity data is permanently deleted within a reasonable timeframe, unless legally required otherwise

SitZip does not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Data is shared only:
